Life With Elephant Tour, is an ecotourism cultural group which was formed in 2018 to take advantage of the growing tourism niche. Based and operating from Eretsha village, we offer short cultural tours of the village, designed to meet the needs of international tourists who mostly visit the Okavango Delta for its’ abundant wildlife. Our client’s interest is to know about the people and the culture of people that coexist with elephants in and around the Okavango Delta. Our services are focused on sharing the history, culture, knowledge, and adaptive skills of the people of Eretsha, that have enabled them to coexist with Elephants for many generations. We offer the activities in the village affording our clients to not only hear about our history and culture but also see, experience, and understand the current complex relationships, challenges and feats of the communities coexisting with elephants in the area. Our services include village tours on a donkey cart, traditional dancing, short mokoro trips/rides, showcasing wood carving and blacksmith skills, demonstration of Conservation Agriculture methods and skills as well as history and storytelling.
